Thank you for taking the time visit my space and taking a walk through my journey. If you have any questions on the Indian classical arts, my journey so far, or about the stars in the sky - anything you would like to ask me - I’d be very happy to answer them. If you’d just like to say hello, share your thoughts, comments or impressions, I would greatly appreciate that too.

Happy to share..

I never looked at one as a hobby and the other as the main pursuit. I never considered one as more or less important than the other. Each helped me maintain balance and sanity, and to return to the other renewed and refreshed. I think they are in fact very complementary pursuits.

Post the break-out of the pandemic, yes. I usually like to know my student and their bodies well before I feel comfortable taking the learning onto the online platform. I prefer not to provide a beginners level training online.

Ofcourse! I believe dance is fundamentally a universal form. It is visual, it is accessible to all.

The Vow of Panchali

20th century Tamil poet's re-telling of the story of Panchali (Draupadi), the wife of the five Pandavas from the Mahabharata, is powerful. What particularly makes this short verse-norvel worth the read is Bharathi's own observations, commentaries on the human mind and his outpuring of angst at an incident in the Mahabharata which was everything but inevitable.
