My identity could begin with what I do or am known by, but it couldn’t end there. I invite you into my story to share with you a piece of me, my passion and the reasons I do what I do.

An academic approach to dance is, to me, synonymous with its artistic pursuit. A multi-dimensional approach to dance has coloured my artistic and professional discovery.

My Work
I believe that Art is secular, not in the apparent sense of the content being non-religious, but in terms of its fundamental principles. The themes I am drawn to lean away from the usual “divine” epicentres, and are a re-interpretation of the traditional as timeless human stories.

Dance for All

My Outreach
To me bharatanatyam is an art of today, certainly a product of its cultural and ethnic history, yet absolutely not limited by it. It is a dance for all.
